FAQ #1 "Studio Space"

Q: Do you guys have a studio booked while you are in *fill in the blink*?
Q: Well I only want to shoot in a studio so the shoot looks professional so do you have one while you are here in *fill in the blank*
Q: It depends, where are you guys shooting while you are in *fill in the blank*?

ANSWER: We are NOT studio shooters. We have shot in a studio once, and once only, in the last 3 years. There are pictures in our portfolio where we shot into a closet OR shower stall. Most of our images were shot against a wall. 99.999% of our images were shot in someone's apartment, in our apartment, in a hotel room, or in someone's basement.

I am very sorry that our work looking "professional" has confused you and mislead you into believing that we must only be "good" if we shoot in a studio setting. But the true fact lies here: We are completely awkward in a studio setting... we generally get confused by the available space... we end up lighting the back drop really tight (as if we did not have said space) in order to keep ourselves comfortable and our style unaltered.

It is not about the space you are shooting in: It's about the lighting, the photographer, and the model. A lot of people have turned us away on the road due to the lack of a studio...
